Should You Skip Breakfast - Intermittent Fasting

Over the past six weeks I have skipped breakfast and consumed my first meal of the day, at least 4 hours after waking.
I have lost weight, reduced my overall body fat, have clearer skin, a smaller appetite and more energy but why have I experienced these benefits when all of my life I have been told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. The phrase, Eat breakfast
like a king, 
Lunch Like a Prince, and Dinner Like a Pauper, springs to mind.



Advice that I need to eat breakfast to boost my metabolism and eat 5-6 meals a day never did not sit well with me because I naturally had no desire to eat that frequently and I found this eating plan made me feel hungrier.

So I have experienced benefits of intermittent fasting but what do the health and nutrition experts have to say on this topic and what is your experience of intermittent fasting. Please leave your comments below.
